Yoga for Beginners Mind. Alignment, Breathing, Transitions and Awareness. If you are advanced or a total newbie: Drop all preconceptions about yourself and Yoga and find out what is possible. This is the course to (re-)discover yoga practice. We keep it playful and precise.



Hatha Yoga following the Pranayoga Method is a dogma free yoga teaching practice, based on universal principles. Nurturing awareness, safety, creativity and precision. Respecting each practitioner‘s uniqueness. Pure Practice. Teaching is in english, german friendly.


Marion teaches Hatha Yoga following the Pranayoga Method® in English (german friendly) and German (english support if needed). Private classes take place in the Studio YOGA at Lobe Block in a clear, calm atmosphere.

What to expect:

Weekly changing sequences. Gentle, detailed and safely guided bodywork (asana), yogic breathing techniques (Pranayama), mantra, mudra, meditation and deep relaxation. Focus on awareness, alignment, movement and breathing. I give great importance to anatomically precise, secure and detailed instructions, and each sequence is preceded by a warm-up, where the foundation for awareness and safety is created. No music. Dogma free. Pure practice. The whole range of Hatha Yoga is provided.

I offer framework and direction, hints and keywords to experience one's own body, energies and inner worlds without imposing a world view or an experience / feeling / sensation on the participant. The yoga experience remains very personal, respecting the uniqueness of each practioner.

The absence of any dogmatism makes the Pranayoga Method® a teaching and learning tool valid for any style of yoga and any holistic and creative activity, a mandala of principles that, in their universality, are applicable to any aspect of life.

The wide open space of awareness allows students to explore the multiple facets of the practice and important principles of our Method, for example:

  • + Groundedness and stability, alignment, polarity and minimum effort in every asana.

  • + Uncovering your essential breath and integrate breath and movement with pranayama, the yogic art of breathing.

  • + Experiencing the vital elements of mental attitude, concentration and awareness through simple meditation techniques, deep relaxation and visualizations.

  • + Rebalancing body and psyche through the therapeutic vibrations of Mantra, repeated sounds that protect the mind from the uncontrolled flow of thoughts.

Each practice is based on an extensive theoretical background that every teacher of the Pranayoga Method® learns during several years of training. This includes sound knowledge of anatomy, subtle anatomy (chakras, nadis, etc.) and broad philosophical studies. This background flows through the sequence into the teaching without being explicitly named, with each teacher freely expressing her own inclinations.
